There comes a moment when you have to stop asking, There comes a moment when you have to stop asking, “Lord, why me?” and start saying, “Lord, why not me?” One of my favorite stories in the Bible is when Moses led Israel out of Egypt. What stands out most is that God didn’t take them the easy way. Instead, He led them through the wilderness. Why? Because He knew that if they saw a battle too soon, they might run back to what was familiar, even if it was toxic. And isn’t that what we do? Sometimes we stay in situations not because they’re good, but because they’re comfortable. But God will remove shortcuts and force us to trust Him completely.
